Baby Shower Time!

My sweet friends threw me a birthday shower. It was a nice surprise as I was not expecting one since I am having another boy. This was actually my second one for this baby. My first shower was a joint shower, shared by pregnant buddies Katie and Rochelle, thrown by our awesome friends, but unfortunately we forgot our camera that time. We got some way cute clothes which is super nice since all we had for the baby till then was Hunter's hand-me-downs. I am excited to put him in his very own outfits. We got a whole bunch of other cute stuff too and I want to thank all our friends and family for their kindness and their gifts. We love you all and can't wait to show off our new little boy.
P.S. Yes I am aware of how much weight I have gained. That's why I added a picture of me, top right, running in my first triathlon when Hunter was 10 months old. It makes me feel optimistic.

Halloween and Birthday fun!

Hunter loves sponge bob so of course that is what he wanted to be for halloween! Ty really wanted to find an adult patrick, sponge bob's starfish friend, costume but to no avail. It was quite the eventful day for Hunter. He got to go trick or treating three time!! First at Ty's office, then with Grandpa Knight, and later that night with some friends in our neighborhood. Needless to say he got a ton of candy and of course Tyler and I have eaten most of it.

Tyler and I don't always dress up but Hunter really wanted us to this year. He was especially interested in witches this halloween so I humored him. In this picture Ty is actually wearing two costumes: the mask we got him and the bacon costume his friend at work brought him. His friend had an egg costume so together they were bacon and eggs. Pretty cutsie. They won honorable mention at their office costume contest.

We helped Hunter carve his pumpkin this year as he is still too young to be trusted with sharp objects. He said he wanted the eyes to be circles, a triangle nose, and no teeth. I did the best I could with the circles but I guess they look more like ovals. I hope that doesn't stick with him all through his life, the confusion between circles and ovals because his mom sucks at carving.

I know this is not in order as halloween is actually after Hunter's birthday but I accidently downloaded it this way. Anyway this is Hunter about to blow out his candles for his fourth birthday. It's pretty crazy to me that he is already four. Even though he looks like he is about six. We had a lot of fun. We just did a little party at our apartment with some family, friends, and neighbors. I should have taken a picture of his room after all his friends had gone home. It was amazingly disasterous. He has friends over all the time but I had never seen it such a mess. I am not kidding every inch of his carpet was covered in toys. But we didn't mind it just meant they had a good time.

Hunter chose "Curious George" as his birthday theme. If you look real close you can see three little Curious George figures on top of the cake. Those two have a lot in common.

The baby is doing well growing in the 65th percentile. My doctor thinks this one will be about a pound and a half bigger than Hunter was. So we are thankful that he is doing so well. I am about 34 weeks along now so about six weeks left to go. I am hoping he will be a little early like Hunter was but my doctor says to not count on it. We are still up in the air about his name. We thought we had decided but I am still not sure. I think I will make a final decision once I actually see him. We are so excited!! It will be nice to have another baby. Hunter is excited too which I am thankful for. I am hoping that means that he won't have much trouble with being jealous. I think he will just be happy to have his own little baby brother.
